Mole Creek Caravan Park must be one of Tassie's hidden treasures. Tranquil & peaceful with a lovely creek running through it, complete with platypus. During my recent stay there I had a medical problem. Jill, the owner / caretaker checked on me regularly & went out of her way to ensure I was OK. After being hospitalised she picked me up from the bus depot & took me back to my campsite at the park. She rang the hospital for an update on my progress, stored my food from my Esky in the fridge & assisted above & beyond the call of duty. I will be forever grateful for her concern & help. The park facilities are spotlessly clean with every necessary convenience. Lots of nice personal touches too. Jill goes out of her way to make sure every traveller comfortable & relaxed. Sincere thanks to you Jill. I'll be back!

What a gem! Jill the manager suggested one of the several spots near the river. The water comes from the mountains and is pure and tranquil. I suggest you bring marshmallow for the camp fire and plenty of wine as you might plan to stay three nights but end up staying six.

Stayed for 4 days over Easter 2018. What a fantastic host and a great place to stay.
